Like most Milwaukee items, it's made pretty decently and does it's job relatively straight forward. The biggest complaint and issue I have is the latch (like many others have pointed out) broke upon my FIRST engagement of the mechanism.
I've walked through the latch and it looks like a solid latch (fully connected) would have/should have been used. The current latch is a metal pronged 'U' shape, with the top of the U being connected by a small piece of plastic (in order to connect into the latch handle). If you look carefully on the table saw, it has four (4) leg holders or rubber feet attached at each corner. I believe this is the issue overall with these two not being compatible. Maybe the older saws didn't have rubberized feet/legs, or maybe the stand was made before they had the rubberized feet Unsure, but if you were to remove them, it would 100% fit into the holder and the latch would be just fine. The rubberized feet pop the saw off the stand about 3/16" and make it so the latch pops out of the plastic socket tube and unable to lock properly.
Could I remove the feet, sure! But no where in the instruction manual does it tell me that I NEED to remove them, and it even shows a picture of the table saw WITH the feet installed and sliding into the table system.
Really enjoy Milwaukee products, but that doesn't mean I have to always like or agree with something they've produced. Hit me up if you all have solutions for this, thanks!
