My go to battery for tools requiring more output!!

This has been my go to battery for all my tools that require more output or extended use. My 10? miter saw, quik lok string trimmer, sawzall, rocket light, grinder, etc. Usually takes about 40-45 minutes to fully charge on my rapid charger. The battery is obviously heavier than a 3.0 or 5.0, but a good weight compared to the 12.0 battery.

Battery Charging Issue

I purchased this battery in February 2021 from a local Home Depot store. It was manufactured 10th week of 2020. It's main use has been on a Fuel oscillating multi tool during a bathroom remodel. I was happy with how the battery performed. However, recently I observed the battery would not charge past 3 bars. This was attempted on multiple chargers both showing green as if the battery is fully charged. My 4 other 5.0 batteries have had no issues with charging. Reading other battery reviews, this appears to have occurred in other batteries. I'm hoping this is an isolated problem with the 8.0 battery and an easy fix. Looking to see how Milwaukee and E-Service will perform and troubleshoot this. I'm a new power tool owner and spent a lot of money to get into the Fuel and M18 lines. Chose Milwaukee based on reputation. Hoping they don't disappoint. 3 stars at this point. If customer service performs well, 5 stars.

Does not last long

I feel bad writing this, cause I love Milwaukee tools. However I bought one of these batteries last summer and it's already having a hard time keeping a charge. It only last about 10 minutes of light use in my impact. I'll have to start reading reviews before purchasing Milwaukee products now.

First day trial

I put this on my smaller reciprocating saw and cut through a PVC pipe, when I let go of the trigger the tool kept running, I pulled the trigger a few more times but it would not stop running. It quit when I pulled the battery. The battery was fully charged before use, but it showed one bar after glitch. When I put it on my charger it emediatly showed fully charged. After that I put it on my 1/2 hammer drill and it worked perfect..

I would not buy any of the vacumes

Everything cordless ? ...maybe not ....ive been a contractor for 35 years and have uesd millwaukee all that time the cordless tools ok lets start with the vacume dust container is hard to remove and replace not real reliable with any battery short life .....the batterys do not hold up like they uesd to ....i can't recommend something I'm fritrated with
