M12 12V REDLITHIUM Battery

Lithium-Ion battery technology has revolutionized the power tool industry by allowing tools to be powered by small compact batteries that weigh a fraction of what standard Ni-Cad batteries weigh. this 4 now

i have 1 of these that powers my m12 lantern but it also says 4 the lantern you could use a xc 4.0 but i don't do long work 2 get this bat so the 1.5 is fine even though it's small & don't give a lot of time it's fine .

Amazing for the size!

I work in construction and I'm a serious DIYer. These things have been dropped off of ladders multiple times (and my roof once). I can't believe the roof drop directly to asphalt only cracked the black case. For the size, these things run forever too! Don't expect them to be as long running as their big brothers. It's not their job. Not to mention they recharge insanely fast.

Great batteries

Im an auto tech, I use these tools everyday. I have 4 of these batteries. Long like span. Plenty of power for the size. Only issue I have with them, the black case at the bottom has broken on all 4 of them. But Im not going to complain about it. Just need to figure out how to order more of the cases.

Poor battery life

I bought a headed hoodie 3 years ago. I basically use it for hunting and have discovered the batteries only last one season. By the next year, they charge fine but only last about 15 minutes on low. Do every year I've spent $100+ on 2 new batteries. If I save the receipt, do you replace them under warranty

Excellent

I've been using the same batteries for almost 5 years. I'm an electrician and use them daily. I also have the 2.0 and 4.0 batteries as well which do last longer of course. Most of the time these are plenty powerful for what I ask of them. I use them in my hammer drill, impact, Sawzall, multi tool and circular saw and they do the job just fine. No issues with charging them ever. It's too bad others have had bad luck because I've hade zero issues with all the m12 tools.
