Saw lasted 26yrs before a bolt snapped

I was bought this saw when I turned 16yrs old and I still use to this day(24 years later). It's a smoother cut then yellow saws and straighter then the blue ones. I've had to take it apart to clean the handle lock and replace the cord. It has done numerous jobs from cribbing to cabinets, concrete to drywall. It is now pink but still out preforms all the newer saws

Example

As a tradesman, I use circular saws a LOT.

I bought & returned 3 very good saws, that weren't good enough. Things I like about this saw: blade visibility & speed, bevel & depth adjustment that locks tight, weight, power(!), handle tilt (is not gimmicky!), magnesium shoe, great control & great cuts. I highly recommend this saw.

Performance and operation

I have 2 sawzalls, 1 screw gun, 1 circular saw, and recently purchased another circular saw. I have always respected the quality, performance, and durability, of Milwaukee products. I am presently awaiting any contact on how to adjust the locking devise for depth of cut. The shoe lock will not tighten when machine is set for deepest cut. I am no stranger to "fixing" new products but this appears to be a design flaw.
